Today I’m going to be showing you how I made this crunchy homemade plantain chips.
Plantain chips also known as kpekere, chifles, mariquitas, or chicharritas, are a great, healthier alternative to potato chips. so easy to prepare!
It’s one of popular snack to buy in Lagos traffic or any traffic in most parts of Nigeria.
But I’m currently in China, and here you can’t find the normal long plantains but I substituted with the shorter ones here and it still turned out great.
you can use ripe or unripe plantain and you can also season with spices [yaji,pepper,salt] as you like.
4 unripe plantains
1 liter of Cooking oil
1 tablespoon of salt
